To deepen fan immersion, we built an evolving online ARG that mirrored the world of Mr. Robot — a digital rabbit hole disguised as a hacker terminal. I helped concept and design the experience from the ground up, as we reimagined it each season to reflect Elliott’s increasingly unstable mindset: from classic green-on-black code to a full replication of his Linux OS.
The site housed secret mini-games, fake companies, cryptic clues, and real cryptography challenges — each piece layered with easter eggs for the show’s hacker-savvy audience to decode. For those who solved it all, the final reward wasn’t just a prize — it was proof they were part of the story.
